Maxwatt Turbomachinery takes great pride in its rich history and extensive expertise in Steam Turbine technology. The company has a deep-rooted background that can be traced back to the establishment of Pentagon Turbo Engineers Pvt. Ltd. in 1992 by a team of experienced Turbomachinery specialists. The team focused exclusively on providing after-sales services, parts and several other value-added solutions to steam turbine customers for various makes of turbine. Their services included simple service and spares support, as well as complex steam path re-engineering and upgrade solutions. With experience in handling over 1000 steam turbines of about 25+ different makes, the team had garnered extensive knowledge and expertise in the field.

Leveraging on this background, the team founded Maxwatt Turbines in 2002, which successfully manufactured and supplied several hundred steam turbines to over 20 countries, including turbines for unique and challenging applications like Geothermal and Solar Thermal Projects. In 2015, Maxwatt Turbines was acquired by MAN Diesel & Turbo, Germany.

The extensive experience and knowledge of the founding members played a crucial role in their Tecno-entrepreneurial journey forward, leading to the founding of Genmax Technologies LLP in 2017 for the development and production of centrifugal and axial vapor compressors. In late 2020, Maxwatt Turbo systems was also founded to produce industrial steam turbines. These businesses are were subsequently consolidated under Maxwatt Turbo-machinery LLP.
The company’s rich and comprehensive experience has immensely contributed to the development of a feature-rich and comprehensive range of steam turbines and steam compressors that provide optimal and competitive solutions to meet the unique needs of its customers optimally.
